i am just saying that when you move in together, a lot of times the guy will be comfortable with the situation and will begin to think it is unneccessary to get married. that is what i meant by "playing house". i understand that living together, paying bills, etc. is a big step and it reveals a lot about each person, so no...it is not something to be "played". what i was getting at is that very often, a man will "play house" in the sense that he will assume that living together is enough...because when you live together it is like you are already married...so, why get married...

Libra, yes I realise that if he wants me he'll come a running!! He's MORE than capable of doing that - he has no problems asking for what he wants
He sent me a text this morning to let me know: "I sorta wish I wasn't going through a mid life crisis right now" and a few other things so he is thinking of me and he knows Im hurting and for him to go on a bender?? that means something LOL....yup a hangover!!! serves him right, he shoulda called, not got blind drunk on his own!! He also said that if I wanted to talk about anything to please call him - he has no problem with that but I won't. He knows it LOL. Its not that I don't want to, its coz I can't...hearing his voice and the fact he really does care will break me and I don't want him to hear or see me like that

We'll catch up soon I know that - Im going to lay low for the time being and get back on track...the door is open - he knows it and if he wants it? he can come and open it totally If not, we will remain friends.
The other women? he let me know that it was only one of his online friends who had gotten a little smitten and wanted to take things to the next step so that's some sort of relief but then again, he shouldn't be online if he has me waiting for him and willing to see him at any blasted time....obviously Im not what he's looking for but I don't think he really knows what that is. But I do still believe he didn't have any time to meet with others but that could be me living on false hope - but just can't see when *shrugs*..ahwell I'll never know.
Anyway its sweet he texted me....maybe if he has some time and shudder, goes out with other women, he might think I wasn't too bad afterall but it might be too late - who knows....anything is possible
Im doing ok - better than I thought I would actually....he's at least being decent and keeping in touch and I've decided to get back on track and try to put my emotions in a box and put them up on a shelf for the time being and heal somewhat.

i'm so glad to hear that things are smooth right now...that is good!
yeah, the distance will be hard, but you know many things can change until may...you know how aquas can be unpredictable, but is hard i know...
aquas, just so you know, seem to work well in long-distance relationships...the question will be...can you? and can you both overtime?
but you know...if both of you make an effort...and he does not go to the bad extreme aqua habits and your of your own...we both know...it will be ok.
i think distance affected my relationship with my ex aqua for sure...but add to that misstrust that came from little lies she made early not...not a good combination. trust is crucial for LDR moonchild, don't forget that, otherwise it becomes a torture...even now that my trust has been broken, i don't regret things...because i feel that i did what i could within the parameters of my integrity...and although i did failed with trusting completely at times, it was due to our different sets of values and expectations...and notions of commitment and such.
seems to me, that your aqua has been growing, and that is great, because you deserve nothing but the very best.
i haven't contacted back any of my exes for a while now...i've been hanging out with friends and my family a whole lot...and just doing different activities that have been good for me.
for sure the friendship of this cancer girl has blessed me, but cherish it as such, and i do also value other people who are coming in my life now little by little.
when i feel like i'm weak and try to think about being with someone again, which could be very easy right now, i remember what i went through and know that my heart needs some rest. so in a way, i do lose my focus sometimes, but i go right back up to where my eyes should be centered...is as if i'm applying my energy and time to new things right now...that is the only way for me.

QS...you are a strong woman and like I've learnt over the past couple of days (the hard way LOL), is that these guys won't actually break if you call them up on stuff. Sure, mine went on a bender but if serious things drive him to drink everytime do I really want to be involved?? uh uh...that's scarey stuff!!! Like he drank a LOT...I knew he liked his drink, we all do, but sheesh!!! He's now sending me really nice texts as he cares and that's nice to have in my life and he said to call him any time if I need to...that's nice too but not sure what to read into that. Im thinking he's only just being nice and hopes I don't LOL.
QS if he didn't bother to contact you from the first email/s you sent, I would just leave him be....that's one thing mine always did...he always replied, to any text, email, phone call. You're better than to have to wait and/or worry as to what he's thinking.
