When should this conversation be taken up?
Should it be a guy or a girl who should initiate this convo, or it doesn't matter?
I think talking about exes can be the kiss of death. It's OK to mention them, but not much. Makes it look like you're hung up on them.
Even once your relationship is established and solid, I don't see a point in a full-blown conversation about exes. They will come up, but no need to take like an inventory of them or anything like that.
