There is no chance.. it's an unfortunate mix when it comes to relationships.. when Taurus or Gemini men constantly go distant and strange and you find you're the one initiating things instead of them, it's best to leave them and move on if you have the option.
She had been married and dates but he is there in her brain and he sends her one word txts and calling sometimes...and she is pretty good about it!

The way he responses currently is a very bad sign especially if he used to be more responsive and initiative at some point. Not sure if elder people in general don't text as much.. I personally think they have more time to? But yeah in that dynamic it's the Aqua who ends up more heads over heels than the sloth Taurus. For her own good... Before she falls in deeper, she should seriously consider cutting things off and moving on. It won't sustain.

I have Virgo Mars, I never took my lovelife very seriously until my mid 20's until I got hurt very badly-I now see it as something I was doing to myself-how did I let someone else have that much control over my psyche/emotions. I have more self love now. I needed that burn. I now have a wonderful relationship with an Aries man which I am hoping will lead to a great future together. Had I met this guy 5 years ago, i'd never have been ready for him. And he says the same me after a bad trip with a Virgo girl.

If you're looking for a practical response, your infatuation stems from an unanswered question, "What if?" In your mind this guy is the one who got away, the one question that was never answered. By understanding this, you may be able to resolve these emotions.

It is only human nature to want what we can't have. The other guys who have been showering you with their attention aren't tickling your funny bone so to speak. You don't yearn for them because they are known quantities. You even hint at this when you state, "I just assumed he likes me, bc I was sure everyone does. At some degree." You're clearly aware of the attention you get from guys. This guy however (I'm guessing because he's a Virgo) is a bit all over the board. He's kind to you when you see him, then he's gone again. He leaves you alone with your thoughts left to wonder about him.
How do you even obsess over a person for 6 damn years without asking them how they feel about you? Am I just hopelessly tangled up in my imagination?
Simple, no other guy has blown you away. For the most part, most men don't understand how to attract women and therefore do not know what a woman wants. As a result the guys who want you aren't holding your attention. They aren't striking you the same way this Virgo is. By understanding what you're attracted to, you can find someone who CAN elicit this same reaction from you.
This is also probably a far more direct response than you anticipated receiving to your venting. Also know you're still young. There are going to be a lot more guys out there for you to meet.
I'm sure he doesn't even realize I like him this much.
But I'm not so sure if he has to know it. I may finally feel free from holding it back but if he rejected me after, I think I'd break into million pieces, which is why I'm trying to fade away from him completely.
I've never been so afraid to express my feelings for someone as I am for this Virgo.
I'm actually generally afraid of him. At the same time, I'm also afraid of letting him go once and for all.

If you want him though, your only real option would be to express yourself. No risk, no reward. Otherwise you'll only wind up holding in that feeling forever and making yourself sick. This feeling may even jeopardize your future relationships. How can you truly invest yourself into another person, if you're hung up on this guy?
Also what's so bad if he says "I'm not interested"? He's just one guy in billions. You only lose the idea of the guy, not the memory itself. You'll at least know where you stand with him without constantly questioning yourself. That feeling can then be dispersed and given to another person, someone who is actually interested in you. Likewise what if he say, "I am interested"? You'll never know if you never say anything.
I only say this because you've been thinking about this guy for 6 years. Is it not time to confront this feeling?
