"And there's always a place for the angry young man
With his fist in the air and his head in the sand
And he's never been able to learn from mistakes
So he can't understand why his heart always breaks
And his honor is pure and his courage is well
And he's fair and he's true and he's boring as hell
And he'll go to the grave as an angry old man"
You may need to be familiar with Anti-flag to get that one completely.

Dy puts his foot down!
*oooohh*
Okay, I *won't* flirt with you, unlike some hussies on this board, only cause I know you love Deb so much...
But I don't think you'll be too mad at me if I answer this question from a female Virgo moon perspective (thought you didn't ask for female input) ... it's just such an interesting question.(Yeah, I'm nosy, I know...)
I absolutely cannot be persuaded to do something that makes no sense to me. That includes bungee jumping, skydiving, skiing, flying in a two-passenger plane etc. Maybe I feel protective of my hands being a pianist, but I hate anything that involves a risk of physical injury. Guess my Sag daughter is going to give me a run for my money on this one...
On the other hand, if something wacky has "worked" for someone else...such as any holistic health regimen...I will try it...simply because I don't believe our allopathic doctors go far enough, and rely too much on drugs as opposed to more natural remedies (and obviously I am not talking about anything like cancer which needs radical drugs.)
But in general, my risks are very calculated...I try to get maximum input from people who have 'already done it"...

this trap:
you just fell for me again, instead of ignoring me, you try to defend yourself. You virgs fall in my trap all the flipping time!! You know I irritate you, otherwise there is no point in arguing with someone you consider "below" you, is there?
bling, why do you always miss my point, what is your mercury?

RC seems extremely idealistic...i.e. young minded.
She wants to be turned out by a virguy eh...wrong choice sweetheart...

Dy, I haven't missed anything exciting. A calculated risk is still a risk, and therefore exciting.
I don't see how hanging upside down from a rope above a river could add anything to my life. On the other hand, I did visit down South for the first time ever recently, something I always wanted to do. The downside was spending money I could have saved, but the upside far exceeded the risk I took.
It depends what one defines as excitement -- always a personal definition. I find it exciting to watch my daughter mature, to get into really good physical shape, to vacation in places I've never been....
Do I sound like a bore? I bet I do!
