I've thought about this "undivided attention" ever since my last post about it .. and I truly believe that this is the main way we show love, above and beyond everything else.
When I look at every person in my life that I love or have a fondness for .. I do this. So many people come to me and say things like, "Angel, I know you'll listen", or, "I need someone to talk to". Certainly, there are people in the world, who they can talk to, and probably have better advise than I could ever give them .. but, most people don't need advise, don't need direction .. they can figure it out for themselves. The only thing they really need is for someone to show them total concern for their troubles by giving them the attention of just listening, without any distractions.
This makes people feel so loved and important .. to be important to somebody builds our confidence and sense of well-being up to face another day .. it's just instinctive to do this with people in my life ..
Do you other Pisces find this? When someone you care about needs your ear .. do you drop what you're doing and give them all your focus?
