You make an excellent point, archer .. my Virgo doesn't retreat. He needs his space to contemplate and fussy over things that wiegh heavy on his mind - as we all do - but, he doesn't disappear.
I have my Sun & Moon in Pisces. I have to admit, loving life and everyone in it, means I'm on top of the world. I can be happy, all day every day with lots of laughter. I enjoy living life to the brim, and sometimes I do have time out to recharge the batteries, but nothing a long hot bath can't fix.

Its not depressing as such..just so much to gather etc..I will miss my cactus plant..

I thought it was just me, filthy conversation follows me where ever I go, I love the shock value, and just when everthing is running along smoothly, I like to frolick in the gutter, the cruder and more colourful, the better. lol.

i agree, looking through another's eyes is key. So is sharing and compromise, truly trying to find joy in another's joy. Appreciating another's uniqueness, as well as your own. Finding happiness in the simplest pleasures of life. Because nobody and nothing in life is really boring, only our own limitations and tunnel vision.

This would also imply that the earth isn't the only planet in which life is sustained, such as is the belief of most Christians.
My belief system about higher power is a tad different .. I think that there is an ultimate entity in which runs the universe, however, NOT the God that people pray to here on earth. I believe that each planet that sustains life has a lessor god, to which is in charge of that particular planet .. and it just so happens that this lessor god who runs ours is screwed up .. he is evil within himself. So, bad things will happen to good people.
Masters who are ascended and know that they are apart of the universe and NOT just this planet and the lessor god .. will find true peace and ascend .. until the time comes that their soul has reached this enlightenment (that the true power is not the Christian God) .. their souls will continue to reincarnate.
