Trust me I went through this back in March with a fellow Libra. He wasn't ready for a relationship so I moved on. We're friends but I distanced myself.

Were you guys in a relationship when he let you know that he wasn't ready? But I am distancing myself, in order to even consider being "friends" with him, I would have to take all of my feelings out of the situation. I personally can't do that because my feelings for him will always be there and he will always have a place for himself.
That was problem, letting him work through this himself. To me if you know you aren't ready thats great, but what are you doing to fix it? If you're focusing on yourself then why aren't you taking a deeper look into what is making you feel this way? Don't tell me I'm the woman you see yourself with in the future then the next minute you act as if I don't care.
His actions are only bringing me down. At the end of the day I know I never changed and that I loved him conditionally, so no matter how he acts or treat me I just need to keep reminding myself that there is nothing wrong with me. It's just crazy how someone can make you feel so low and insecure about yourself.

Please bear with me as I make a long story short and try to give examples. If you have questions, let me know. This guy will talk to me about anything and everything. He can sometimes be very clingy and needy in regards to needing to know what I'm doing or talking to me, he will say that he misses me and send me "good morning" messages or greetings in the morning, he invited himself over to meet my family even and has hung out there with me a few times, we hang out in public at various times of the day, he has been affectionate in a handholding and snuggling when I have backed off and said that it's too relaionshippish for me. I have felt the slight pings of jealousy he gets with other guys even if he won't admit it. He is also pretty possessive of me and calls me "his" a lot.
Two scenarios that really threw me:
1. I went to a small house party with a group of friends and one of these friends knew I was fairly recently single and acted on his feelings by trying to get me to stay over and trying to make out with me which made me extremely uncomfortable. The next day I confided this with him and he freaked out and told me how disappointed he was in me and how much he couldn't believe that guy did that, etc.
2. He has a tendency to keep things as positive and drama-free as possible and is rarely confrontational unless he is really upset (like above example), but for a few days in a row he kept asking me questions about what I wanted and saying things like that he can't figure me out. He's not interested plain and simple. Somewhere along the line you bored him. That mystery and reserve nature does not work with Pisces like some claim it does.

It's hard for you because you two were together for almost a year. I can't tell you to move on 'cause it's not that easy. But you have to TRY.
I won't deny that I still have feelings for him in fact, I'm still hurting and he has no clue. But I just decided to accept things and hope for the best.
Focus on YOU. Stop thinking about what he's doing and should do. It's normal to feel insecure but things WILL get better.
