Two things you can do:
1 - Make it a total break, stay firm about it, leave no room for ambiguity. That doesn't mean you have to be cruel or anything like that...just... direct and final. "It's not working, I don't want to continue this, it's over, goodbye." Final.
2 - We Capricorns do have one final weapon of last resort. A Saturnian super power I like to refer to as "The Aura of Boring." Just be really really really really really really really really really damned boring. It's the slow method, but it works, and lets them think it was their idea to leave you.
