Posted by Chelsey07Little HitlerPosted by justagirlPosted by Chelsey07IMO the response was highly inappropriate, as he is retaliaitng with a 'list" of items you have supposdely done wrong so that is justfiying not paying you. No it doesn't work that way. All he had to do was address the improper order of command and then have your direct manager address those other things seperately.Posted by CaramelizedCoffeePosted by Chelsey07Does he have a point though? Or is he using you as an examplePosted by drunkghost
superior complex, sorry your boss is a condescending dick
Yeah, me too. Because how dare I ask for the money I worked hard for??
Are you the only black person?
My job is all Black and no, there is no point to make. I've been late by a minute or two...never more than that and my job is in a high traffic area, so coming to and from is hell on Earth, but that doesn't justify not paying me in over a month.
That's like saying "Do you deserve to be paid?"
Proper chain of command should always be adhered to within a company. The email response however is troubling, he has been stockpiling of suppsodely breaches of policy instead of addressing them as they occur, is there an HR department? You have opened a can of worms and you may be targeted. Id cover your ass if you can but you need them to be aware of this email.
There is no HR. We're a small company of about 20 people and he's the CEO and owner. While that shouldn't give him the liberty to do whatever he pleases, with no one above him holding him accountable, he's allowed to run rampant.click to expand
Posted by whatisthisallaboutThus video seems to appeal very much so with my life at the moment could any one offer some insight or something need some help
Posted by TeenaPosted by BlackburnBut I actually kinda save myself at the right time...like when I'm just about to drown n die or something...but I always do? My timing might be off or sometimes it maybe late...but I take care of myself too...never toooo late.Posted by TeenaPosted by BlackburnRight. Life ties you inevitably. I never wanted to wish not to die. It's not my wish to die early exactly..but like I should be free to go whenever. Did that make sense??? But if we are tied to people, we will want to live..for them... because leaving someone when we know they need us, like I said before, would be hard. To wish not to die for someone sounds ..umm..bad..like aww no!! Lol! Sorry if I didn't make any sense?Posted by TeenaPosted by BlackburnLOL!!Posted by TeenaPosted by BlackburnI want to know why you say the opposite is selfish...Posted by tizianiPosted by BlackburnYes like I want to be the one to die first in my relationship.Posted by halalbae
its interesting to read the comments
the importance is either placed on the other person's suffering or on their own suffering
selfless love vs selfish entitled love
----
Though desiring our SO's wellbeing can be selfish too.
----
[Lol, that's so Pisces] Saying the opposite would be selfish too, it's not easy.
I just don't hide my selfishness and make it to have positive consequences to both of us.
----
I was joking, just imagine telling your SO: I want you to die before me : )
Everything can be selfish or selfless depending on why you say it, maybe you want them to die earlier so that you are the one surviving, or you want to save them from the grief of losing someone dear.
I agree with everything can be selfish n selfless.. probably even at the same time.
I personally want to be there for them till their last breath..do whatever I can to make them happy till then. It's an immense pain to see them leaving you.. it's not easy at all. But I can't die in peace knowing I have not been there when they probably needed me...reason I wanna die early even before all the relationship ish happens. To be able to die without being tied down by anything lol.
----
Yeah, I agree we mostly are both at the same time. That's beautiful. Like what I told Tiziani, is a selfishness that's not just positive to you. The problem is the negative connotation or word given to a natural feature.
You can have relationships and die single, life ties you inevitably to things, people, places and other stuff but you decide how it affects you. Do you want to die early?
Lol I sound like a life coach.

'Because leaving someone when we know they need us, [...] would be hard.' That's exactly what happens to me. I feel putting our needs behind others' like that just creates an imbalance, a gift difficult to return, is ok to care for others but sometimes nobody asked me for saving yet there I am rescuing the wet rat from the streets. Or maybe that's not bad and the problem is choosing the rat. I don't really know.click to expand
