To be fair I'm aspiring to be one. Not quite there yet and wouldn't agree with everything it has said due to how reserved I am sometimes.

My husband is my face type. Too tall though...
However living with him for 23 years I had never been attracted to another man! It could be because I liked certain type and he fit it perfectly. Lookwise...
Personality came with it.
Then when I've met Scorpio I was stricken like by a lightening! Totally different face! Now I can't look at any other man because no one comes close.
However I am still attracted to my husbands face. I just can't stand his goofy personality anymore!
It was cute 23 years ago. Maybe even 10 years ago it was ok. But he is 61 y/old goofball! Not cool!
So these 2 I am dealing with fine!
Others still - never saw one I like after Scorpio. Like what ta heck is that attraction based on?
It was triggered by meeting with bunch of coolest men an hour ago. We had laughed and had so much fun but not one was even remotely interesting to me though they were all different types - tai, French, Italian, German, Jewish, Scottish...and all other mixes...

With some people who do that, there isn't much you can do because they're in a loop that they have to get themselves out of. She will likely keep doing it until it works out (rare, but sometimes it does) or it's so obviously not working that she doesn't want the relationship any more. Or, her boyfriend will end things so finally that she has no choice. They're in the loop together.click to expand
Gem moon certainly can take a role, but what relevant aspects does it have in your friend's chart? One thing is true with me: when I'm in a loop it's usually hard to get out of it. If you want to help her you can confront her with what you think. It's none of your business, but good friends are for the right occasions. Have you tried that? I appreciate when friends tell me the hard things. I actually respect them a lot for it.
But the gem moon is indecisive.
