But deep down, subconsciously, racism still occurs between races (most severe between whites and non whites). It's just back in the days voicing out such racism is justified due to everyone doing it -- Think of the MLK period in the US.
And now it still happens but more subtlely. If I place a white girl in a room and two guys, one European and one Asian (or non white), assuming they have the same personality, the white girl's gonna choose the European guy over the Asian guy. True story. The only few exceptions are that the white girl's wanting to experiment or have a thing towards interracial relationships or just want to rebel, otherwise they stick with the European kid.
