How about birdstrikes? Or the environmental impact studies necessary in the pre-construction phase before an airport is developed? Or the impact existing airports have on local wildlife in surrounding areas? A good case study would be JFK because of it's location near Rockaway Beach.

They've now incorporated the Indian Creek fire into the Eagle Creek fire. Not to say that it hasn't expanded, but I think the majority is from combining the two into one.
