I'm sorry to hear that you're having a hard time moving on from your ex. I've been there with someone who has Libra sun and Leo moon. It sucked, it was hard to move past him without full insight on what was the cause of the major fail of the relationship, however, over the years i noticed that i didn't really need closure, what i really wanted was an opportunity to talk my way into the relationship again.

Hmmmm. Can you elaborate please. Are you referring to opening up to you when he needs space, or is it hard to tell him how his actions make you feel?
How long does he take space and how is it causing emotional neglect?
If I want us closer, it irritates him.
And I mean closer emotionally, which is what I need, talking about things for the future.
I asked him where he saw himself in 5 years, that apparently is a no.
Hmmm, well forgive me for stating this but it sounds like you two may be talking a different language. working towards being "emotionally close" and talking about "the future" are different things. At least it is for me. One speaks to vulnerability, letting you know my heart, fears, desires and hope (more Scorp focus) and the other speaks to security (more Virgo focus). Now discussions about the future may be synonymous with emotional closeness for a you...but maybe not for him?
That may be the issue. Do you think he may be feeling like you don't trust he'll be around in the future so he's irritated with the doubt? If you're pushing a conversation about the future he may be wondering why that is.
I don't like arguing. Neither does he.
But misunderstandings cause them.
And him getting defensive causes them.
I literally have to let him know that I'm not attacking him, not to take anything so personally.

I didn't know about him until I got relocated back, she and I had been talking everyday I was gone. I came back for her, she said she was in a relationship, I told her I want her and if I can't be with her goodbye.
two days later she's emailing and calling saying hello, asking me about my life like she doesn't know. about game of thrones (wtf really)... telling me I look amazing and she's happy I am doing good. so we've just been chatting.
I figured it was part boredom on her part, part interest... I came back for her so I tried to see if our history would pull her back. We went out last week and had fund, I didn't push for anything we flirted a little and gave a good long hug good bye.
4 days later she's picking him up from airport. never mentioned he was coming back. I had called her while they were driving.
anyway I said well, good luck to you and hung the phone up. she proceeded today to call me twice and text me saying she still wants to keep talking.
I said no I can't be your buddy.... she said above all else we are friends even if you don't want to speak to me.

When we were dating, he'd plan the most romantic dates and then disappaer for weeks at a time, telling me that he's visiting his family in other states or for work... and then reappear. I was puzzlied but I guess it all makes sense now. This pattern is probably typical for guys who juggle between multiple lives.
think about this guy as a human being - who, for whatever reason, does not tell the truth - and that's not a little white lie - or it is to him - shallow person he is - he just wanted to be free and get some and not have any worries
I think he is just a terrible human and I feel bad for his children - he is probably a crappy father - who would want a father who "isn't quite right" ...
there is nothing you can do about him pulling the wool over your eyes for a time - but it didn't go on that long and you found out about it - although it seems like you got a few feels for him - it isn't real because he isn't real
brush the dirt off and get back out there - and be smarter each time you get knocked down - that's all - nothing more or less - it is what it is
