Damn straight. Also I like to know different methods to cope with problems because I don't like feeling down. It actually messes up my ability to be productive when that happens. Leos need the ability to be productive since we are a creative and goal oriented sign. So the best thing for me to do in a problematic situation is to figure out how to move on from it. This is what we advise others to do as well.
I don't pretend that people can change, instead I just put them in a box. I like being optimistic about life, but I'm also a realist. If someone shows me who they are, I'll mentally categorize them. From there it's up to them to change my opinion of them. I don't tell them this though. They'll continue being themselves not realizing I've set invisible boundaries around them.
Also yes Leo is very much the "take what's mine because I deserve it" sign. We feel this way because secretly we do work hard, even when it seems like we're not. So we feel we deserve the best. We have no problem imparting this philosophy on others. If you don't take what's yours, someone else will.

That's where I've been guilty of what you're getting at.
I troll swingers forums to try and get to the bottom of things and try to get people to loosen up. No success so far.
But the biggest social media sites don't bother me, I barely log into them. I like to champion Kim Kardashian for people who get bent up over stuff like that. They don't know how to lighten up.

Leos are generally not very good at taking a good, deep look inside themselves in part because of their pride and in part because...they are just not very intellectual or emotionally intelligent, etc, and are also generally a bit too "innocent" and superficial to be able to examine the motivations of whatever they do or to be aware of how they might come across to others. Leo is not a sign of introspection. Not saying that they aren't capable of it, but it's just not what comes natural to them. Leos would rather blame anything outside of them for whatever they caused, than admit they were wrong.
I do. I address my male friends like that as well. It's not like I reserve those for that special someone. I throw them in casual conversations many times. They don't mean much... nothing special at least.

So the point I'm trying to make by this is: OP most likely did act flirty, even if she wasn't fully "aware" of it. There are lines you just can't cross in a friendship and to be someone's friend also means to be aware and respect the boundaries of your friend.
