There's a bit in the article I linked in the OP that talks about emotional manipulation/games that a person with this aspect brings out in an attempt to coerce the other person to show love and affection and to gain total control over the relationship itself. I have one for credit purposes that I will put a low amount on, and pay fully off every month. Other than that, I pay cash for everything I have. If I don't have it, I don't buy it. Simple as that.
It is better for one's credit, to have one credit card with a higher limit, then multiple credit cards with smaller limits. If you want to build your credit, you can simply ask for a credit increase review every 6 months. It's stupid for anyone to have more than 1-2 credit cards, and live outside of their means. I deal with people that are delusional about their credit everyday of my life at work.

agreed but I have higher limits on all my credit cards plus what I do is spend money I do have but instead of using my debit card I use my credit cards so they stay active and then when the time comes I pay it off w/ the money that's been accumulating in my bankclick to expand
