Take lots of loo breaks
They frown upon that unless you have a note from your doctor explaining why you need to use the loo so much. I’d be fired for sure.click to expand

speaking of healthcare, i would avoid working in nursing homes/senior homes. i heard something recently.
a friend of mine i used to bartend with in my early twenties (a libra) has been working in a nursing home for a few years now and he recently was unjustly accused of misconduct.
an old lady with alzheimer accused him of pushing her when he was only trying to save her from danger.
and what’s shocking is, this lady used to tell everyone at the senior home that my friend was her favorite staff out of all the staff.
but after the incident, this lady with alzheimer told her family and the other staff that my friend “pushed” her. so he was called into question about it and had to go through a brief stressful period where he had to explain to everyone what really happened.
he said things like this are pretty common in nursing homes so you have to have really tough skin to work in one and it’s the reason why they’re always hiring because staff quit often. if you’re looking to be less stressed, i would avoid nursing homes 😅
i actually used to volunteer in one when i was a teen but i was only there to chat for an hour or two with the old ladies/gentlemen and was fortunate that nothing weird happened. 😅
I actually used to work in a nursing home and something similar happened to me which is why I don’t work there anymore. Otherwise I did enjoy it for the most part. I enjoyed the most just sitting and chatting with the residents. Many of them treated me just like I was their grandchild. A lot of them had family who never came to visit them and treated them so horribly. It made me incredibly sad. I don’t think I could work in a nursing home long term. I lasted a year.click to expand
