speaking of healthcare, i would avoid working in nursing homes/senior homes. i heard something recently.

a friend of mine i used to bartend with in my early twenties (a libra) has been working in a nursing home for a few years now and he recently was unjustly accused of misconduct.

an old lady with alzheimer accused him of pushing her when he was only trying to save her from danger.

and what’s shocking is, this lady used to tell everyone at the senior home that my friend was her favorite staff out of all the staff.

but after the incident, this lady with alzheimer told her family and the other staff that my friend “pushed” her. so he was called into question about it and had to go through a brief stressful period where he had to explain to everyone what really happened.

he said things like this are pretty common in nursing homes so you have to have really tough skin to work in one and it’s the reason why they’re always hiring because staff quit often. if you’re looking to be less stressed, i would avoid nursing homes 😅

i actually used to volunteer in one when i was a teen but i was only there to chat for an hour or two with the old ladies/gentlemen and was fortunate that nothing weird happened. 😅

I actually used to work in a nursing home and something similar happened to me which is why I don’t work there anymore. Otherwise I did enjoy it for the most part. I enjoyed the most just sitting and chatting with the residents. Many of them treated me just like I was their grandchild. A lot of them had family who never came to visit them and treated them so horribly. It made me incredibly sad. I don’t think I could work in a nursing home long term. I lasted a year.

I'm a prophet. I'm here to wake souls from their sleep. But I have my head stuck in the ground like an ostrich. I'm too much of a coward to allow God to come to me directly so I work around the edges. I have deconstructed this creation into what it truly is. It is all God. And when one knows this and knows how to return into who they truly are anything is possible. I do a lot of preaching in my head - very profound, stuff not of this world. Miracles? probably. Physical matter becomes light and vibration and through the force of one's will it can be rearranged as one chooses.

My neighbor tried to burn down the house I'm building when I wasn't there - casually sparking some dry grass. The flames burned several things and got to the edge of the house at which time Divine Mother put the flames out. Will I never be at peace? She waits for me to get busy, and I wait for this dream to pass.

yeah i remember most of them told me their families don’t come around too often.

i actually had a great time while i was volunteering there as well. i loved hearing their unique life stories. i learned a lot about appreciating the simple things in life that we tend to overlook and persevering through hardships with limited resources. i really respect people who were born before technology made everything so easy cuz they had to be imaginative and find clever ways to overcome difficulties. they were very stoic and hard working. i really appreciate the wisdom of the older generations. it sometimes makes me sad to think that the folks i used to spend time with there are no longer here with us.
