why your user name on dxp is the one you have now?

Just curious...

As for mine.. I don't know lol I don't even know how to pronounce it...xxixxi...hmmmm (—_—)
This user name of mine is something I have never used before..whilst there are a few which I have mostly stuck to when it comes to joining a new site on the Internet

I think one reason why is because I somewhat wanted to create a very separate myself or identity sense from those I have in this cyberspace..of course, one determines to hack or track down others' ids then there is always a way to do it lol...but still..a flimsy disguise

I also tried to pick a user name which would not much reflect or show what kinds of backgrounds I am from..which was not really successful though lol one really cannot escape structures they're embedded in and have sprung from I guess
and of course the pictures I uploaded on this site..gives away some hints as to what kind of a person I am...that is, if any one on this site is ever interested in to find out 🙂

Since it seems that I have too much free time on my hands, sometimes I look at some dxp users' names and try to read things from them...lots of times they carry and convey a good deal of information about someone

lol what am I babbling on..
anyways, any one interested in sharing why you chose or created the user name you're identified with on this site..or anywhere else? 🙂

I was younger, am a virgo and wanted something awkward sounding.

goki sounded a little like frogs croaking and reminded of a scenario beside a pond/lake. Poetic but disguised by the frogs.

May I ask why would you want something that sounds awkward? Is there any reason for it? 🙂

If you've never heard it used, watch the fine Sam Eliot/Katherine Ross movie "Conagher" sometime, it's a great story and an excellent movie... as anything with that pair in it usually is. There are times I can identify very well with Sam Eliot's attitude in that movie. 😉

Yes, lots of times names have personal, private hi/stories..they have some values to their users...if not, then why someone would pick up them for themselves?

But then some names are..or seem totally random..and in those cases, I still try to look into something..which might be carried by them unconsciously..

Because I was adamant to find about a virgo at the time I thought I'd announce myself as an aqua. Should start a new username called TheFencingFish.

I was born at a time of year that has a lot of wild weather that I think is symbolic of the chaotic nature of Pisces energy.

I wasn't feeling very creative the day I joined this site as well lol that is why now I have this silly user name of mine lol...as I wrote I don't even know how to pronounce it myself..but then does it really have to be pronounced at all? It's not like the real name I have & use in rl..this one will (probably) only be used on this site..thus always be written in a textual form...rather than be voiced 🙂

Maybe the number 76 means the year you were born?...sorry if I'm being too nosy lol you don't have to tell me everything 😉

haha it is not my government name, but it is the name people know me by in real life yes. One day I may legally change it, I'm so used to it.

but then I hadn't even really considered picking up names related to it...like I wrote I wanted to reveal as less of myself as possible..but it probably hadn't gone that way since if one looks at on which forums (e.g. gemini forum lol) I have been making threads then they would've had a good idea about where I come from lol...
