Any def way of knowing your Moon sign w/o TOB?

So my Aries friend falls on 4/18 ... I've had one member explain he is def an Aries moon. But when I look at the Ephemeris for his date and year he's an Aries mooner before 12 Noon, however a Taurus mooner after 12 noon. Either description fits him

In this scenario, your best bet is to get a general time of day, ie "afternoon, late at night". Most people tend to know that much.
Yeah, that's the kicker, he'd think I lost my scruples if I asked him, and then tell him what for haha Unless trickery?!!!!
