I've noticed the same thing. Same fucking haircut, same clothes, even same body language. And it's been going on for like 15 years so it's not a passing trend either.

Chris Pratt, he was super pudgy in parks and rec. But they beefed him up for guardians of the galaxy... so he wasn't always a babe!
Guess it currently serves as the "ideal body" for either gender.

I agree the actors from the 60s to 80s often had a very distinctive look, they didnt look similar at all Cary Grant, Yul Brynner, Charles Bronson, Jack Nicholson, Robert de Niro, James Coburn,Steve McQueen its impossible to mistake them for another actor

to make things worse, every movie is now characters looking ominously at an off screen menace just before being attacked by hordes of CGI gobelins.
All the CGI swarms of enemies have the same face literally in every movie now.
Can't tell them apart
