Metallica really had no choice but to get rid of Dave..... They are a great band and you know most bands have some sad story to tell.....I saw judas priest a few months ago and i really wasn't sure if I was going to like them but it was awesome, some band i don't know well opened for them i think they were called Queens Rike not sure how they spell it. They were ok didn't know any of there songs. Then Labor day weekend I saw Motley Crue they were really good live I was surprised.
What did u think about Jason leaving Metallica I think he made a huge mistake. But he wanted his freedom so I can respect that.

I have the same bitterness as Mustaine, and i'm actually glad they got rid of him because Megadeth was 10 times what Metallica was in terms of talent and creativity. I'm glad Jason left that sinking musical ship that is Metallica, they want to be stars now, like being rich isn't enough. Can anyone seriously like St-Anger? Did anyone notice that they can't play Dyer's Eve very well live, that Kirk has lost a lot of technique over the years even though that was the only thing that made him remotely interesting. Whoa, another pull-offs solo in E pentatonic minor with "out of sync" wah-wah, NIIICE. They just don't give a shit anymore, and they'll end up like Ozzy. Oh yeah, and they got the monkey bass player that looks cool and kinda fits in the rap-metal bizkit crowd.

I've always liked Halford solo better than Priest, man that band rocked hard. And Queensryche is an old prog rock band i know very little.

I saw Motley Crue on Larry King and Live8, pathetic, they should go see Scorpions and Whitesnake, maybe they'd learn a little bit.

Mr. Crabby~ I must agree that for me I like Old school Metallica I didn't care for St Anger at all, Megadeth does Rock and they are an awesome Metal band. I was very impressed with Priest they Fuckin Rocked Hard and took the House Down!!! I also saw Anthrax at a small club not too long ago, I enjoyed the show.
Scorpions I can see it.... but whitesnake they are ok.
Dream Theater ~ Octavarium is one of their newer releases my friend has that one the only one I have is "When Dream & Day Unite that's older probably late 80's ??
