Knowing I have new experiences to look forward to
Helping someone efficiently
Crying
Praying for my mother, cats & turtle, family, animals, earth, and others
Not being around a lot of people or being forced to interact with them or come into physical contact with them
The things I listed ground me because they give me strength and courage to face and live in the "real" world, and by real I mean the stressful, difficult, hurtful, confusing, messy, and scary bits.

But I'm a Piscse mooner, not sun, so my answers may not be what you are looking for.
My shoes and the roof on my house. Believe me if I could fly with wings I would do that. But I have to stick with flying a Cessna on weekends. Man I'm glad I have a pilots license. If a Pisces wanted to fly, this is the best way.
Grounding is for petulant children, not adults.

... and not particularly fond of humans.

I notice this in any Piscean I know. The world at large..meh. Just a couple of individuals they are fond of.

Ha, please you do not know many Pisces then. I like animals but find people who prefer them over human life nauseating, its like "pleaseeee, save all that compassion talk." Pisces are extreme caregivings, I dont know who you have met.
When I am in love, I feel most grounded. But then again, I need help being grounded in love. Confusing I know.
@Damnata she's right.

It's not a contradiction; it's a different question.

The difference I perceive is concept vs realization. I love lord of the rings but I would hate to live in middle-earth.

If I had a microscope over the world, then I would "love" humans in that context. I want human civilization to succeed. I want to see humans reach the stars. The reality that humans will one day vanish into nothingness and never have been is heartbreaking to me. I'm almost a humanist in this regard Winking

OTOH: If I had to meet everyone in the world and spend 15 minutes talking with every last one of them, I would "hate" humans in that context. Most humans on a personal level annoy me.

I get along with some other animal species on a 1 to 1 much better than many humans. I would rather spend time with a dog or a cat than a person. But I value a human life more than a dog or cat's life. I would save a human I despised over an animal that I loved in nearly all scenarios. Like I told PR- I do love animals but I still murder and eat them.
a taurus moon.
Those I Love ..x
My Earth Grand Trine
Solid, Respectful, Socially Intelligent people make for a better, secure world
Financial - Physical Security
People on my Team - Like Minds
Good Health - Fitness
Enough "Me" Time
I myself might have to step back and take a good hard look at reality, which is hard sometimes.

Usually its the ones i love. Constantly talking about something to more then one person and hearing these opinions... There is always one that just opens my eyes and brings me a little closer to the ground. i search for it. I will keep asking questions until i find the right answer....

Thinking of people of family i have plenty to ground me once in a while: grand mother cap, father taurus, wife cap, father in law virgo, daughter cap.
Shopping,music and liquor.
