My main question is, can anyone relate to problems with bf or hubby that keeps pushing you away?
Because when he drinks he treats me like a stranger. He puts his dog in front of me
He avoids sex,and is addicted to porn.I am hoping that someone can say they understand.
I am a busy nurse, and work allot of hours. He always accuses me of going out on him, he is insecure.
Wants to play games, and I have seen enough to know he needs serious help. What do you do when you love
someone so deeply, and after 3 years its not better? I was married for 30 years than met him,we lived together. We moved and rented a perfect place near my folks so I could help with my dads illness.
His room mate is gay and 20 years older than us. He would put traps out for me, and make him distrust
me.When he learned this oldman was gay and took 600 from our bank acount,it opened up his eyes.
He did it to keep us from going away for my birthday,we went anyway to prove a point.I cant win,and
am ready to walk away if some changes dont take place. We went to dinner a week after we moved in our
new house, this guy pours water on our bed, as if my dog peed on it while we were gone. He knows how
to make him blow up, as he was blowing up I am cleaning it up this guy dials 911 and puts the phone down. I went outside to say sorry, and deal with this and the cops pull up. I thought a neighbor called. When they said it was from inside the house,my bf looked at me as if I did it.This old man
will stop at nothing to break us up, because he is in love with my bf.He keeps tricking him like he cares for him, helps him pay all the bills. He is a quiet manipulator.he knows how to get a reaction from my bf.Does anyone have any advice on this? or maybe how I can live without him? That night the day before Mothers day, I left and moved over with my parents a mile away, soon after bought a house next to my folks.I took him there a few days later, he was so happy for me until the oldman started putting crap in his head. My two sons started staying with me and now he wont step foot inside my house.
This is so confusing,I have allot playing against me,please someone reply.Have a beautiful day!

You should take some time away from this whole situation. You are not thinking clearly and it is obvious that this is not a healthy situation. You probably will not take any advice you get from us here, but trust me, in the end... you will have to remove yourself. If he loves you, he will be there in the long run.

This is a complete mess. You have a gay roommate whose in love with your boyfriend. Hello!
Disadvantages
1. keeps pushing you away?
2. schizophrenic
3. alcoholic
4. his room mate is gay and 20 years older than us
5. Gay roommate put traps out for you to create distrust.
6. took 600 from our bank acount
7. He did it to keep us from going away for my birthday,
8. this guy pours water on our bed, as if my dog peed on it while we were gone.
9. guy dials 911 and puts the phone down. my bf looked at me as if I did it.
10. This old man will stop at nothing to break us up, he is in love with my bf
11. he keeps tricking him like he cares for him, helps him pay all the bills.
12. He is a quiet manipulator.
So there is nothing that you've said so far that indicates he's schizophrenic/alcoholic but what you may notice is the Gay man being a huge factor in your situation which indicates/leads to some kind of homosexual affair between the 2 of them.
Let him stay gone. No grown ass man should be paying for another grown ass mans bills unless they are a couple/dating/sleeping together.

I'm not even in the situation and it makes me want to run away from it.

Yeah, now that you two mention that angle, it could very easily be the case here.
The guy could be a closet gay guy and that's why he has all the issues. It'd also explain avoiding sex and putting a pet before the girlfriend.
Regardless of that possibility, the entire thing is fucked. Go learn to be single for awhile and enjoy yourself. You shouldn't be trapped in such a shitty situation because you want to play nurse to this guy's fucked up issues. It's doing nothing but dragging you down.

Oh my goodness! You have a naturally caring personality and it is becoming your downfall!
Everybody is right, really, this situation is just not right for you! So sorry you are being treated this way.
Don't try and fix him or what have you, walk away and put yourself first, show the universe how you should be treated =)

Every person who responded here, told you to leave him, or talked about him and that you shouldn't be with him.
You're not asking that .... you have to overlook most people, most people have their own agenda, and never really listen.
You want to know how to continue in a relationship with him .... how to cope ... how to make it work between you two.
Nobody really got that ^^^ because people aren't empathetic, like they think they are .. they never really considered you .. they spoke from a standpoint of themselves and what they would want you to do.
The answer to your questions: The only way you can get him to change, is for you to change yourself. All interactions with others is really a 'play' off of each other. As you are participating in this loop with him, you have a certain role, one in which he realizes exactly how you will respond/react to him.
change the rules of engagement ..... and he will ultimately change
I don't condone head games ... but, that is what you are asking for

So the dude often had sex with the older man and actually has feelings for him and but feels guilty about being homo and then you appeared in his life. Not that that actually happened.
But thats impression I got.

I feel that schizophrenia is being thrown around too often. I used to think its something absolutely serious but now since its apparently affecting more than a few million people in America alone...I wonder if it truly is a disease or simply just a mind that takes in the world differently, requiring???perhaps a new way of communicating?

The people who have Schizophrenia...are they truly paranoid for no reason or are they just so sensitive to what's wrong in the world and it is reflected on and projected through them.
Hmmmm. It seems too common to me. Something is up.
