I'm pretty sure that sparked something in you about not being important to him..and then the dance happens. I don't think you created the situation to get him jealous but acted on it when the opportunity presented itself.
You ended this with saying you don't intentionally play games...that means what...this time you played games but never intended for it to come across like that?

Far better entertainment, as I will be far more amused at their seemingly seething anger at how much they all hate our kind whilst I sip my tea / coffee for the day.
If they want to go this far, at least give us a show. All we got so far is a piss of rain rather than a torrential downpour. I am not pleased. 😈

This is why having a very thorough discussion about boundaries, what is considered inappropriate behaviour in a relationship is so important. How were you to know that would set him off? He needs to know that just because he sees that as cheating doesn't mean you knew that, and that is not actually a common belief. I wouldn't want my guy dancing with someone but I actually told him this a long time ago as one of my boundaries.

Look, I know I swear a lot and it's a bad habit I've gotten into considering the industry I work in. I actually swear more around friends and in my own time. In public, and around most people, it's toned down to nothing.
I generally have kept neutral with this chick for ages, even when half the website was turning against her. But lately, some of the stupid shit she goes on about is incredibly face palm worthy and I'm downright embarrassed for her. I'm not the least bit shocked, though. When she admitted to basing a judgement on a restaurant off their bathrooms, I knew what kind of individual she was and it's not a positive reflection of who she is, tbh.
