Some well needed Scorpio advice please.
He's still involved with the mother of his child, he won't stop being involved with her emotionally which is probably why he's stalling on taking you out and not verbalizing directly to you what's on his mind.

How about stop being a weenie and talk to him directly? He'll admire you more if you're witty and confident rather than hiding behind your friend.

His sun is in Scorpio, his Moon is in Pisces, and his Venus is in Scorpio- I've been crushing hard on this guy for quite a long time, 3 years to be exact but only have my feelings been revealed in the last year. We have a mutual friend that has been our mediator, I trust this mutual friend very much. Him and I don't really know each other mentally, we have had a couple casual friendly encounters.
The first incident: The day before Christmas eve, we were suppose to meet in the parking lot of his place of business so that I could give him his gift. There was a mix up, and I ended up watching him pull out of the parking lot. I called our mutual friend and she called their job so that they could get a hold of him to see if he would come back to meet me- he came back. That was the first personal encounter. It lasted for a few minuets, there was heavy eye contact and he teased me, we were both tongue tied. I asked him if he wanted my number and he took it down wrong, I found this out because he asked our mutual friend if I was mad at him. He apparently sent me a Merry Christmas text, I never got it.
The second incident: I went into his place of business, and he acted as if I was not even there. He hid behind a pillar when he had seen me in eye sight- exchanged glances with another co-worker she laughed- although I can't be sure that they were laughing at me.
Basically it has been a lot of talk between our mutual friend, he never says anything to me directly but does hold a glance whenever I go to speak with our mutual friend at their place of business. He smiles at her when I walk in. Apparently he wants to go out on a date with me, and we have made plans that got canceled because he got called into work. So more plans are in the process of being made. He told my friend that he liked me.
The main problem has been with the mother of his children, he has been with her on and off for the past 11 years and they share 2 children together. They finally called it quits after he would not marry her because she was constantly bickering with him and throwing things up in his face. He has his own place now, I just recently got an apartment which is not even a block away from my new place. I never planned it that way. I know that he stays busy with work, and his kids. He has not dated much.
My question is do you think he is just telling my friend these things
