These are was VH! Tyrion(forgot the actor's name) is so cool..lol I also am reading book #2. So far the characters are a perfect match with the show's actors. I love Arya's journey to the wall. Tyrion cracks me up! Robb is growing up, I didnt realize he's supposed to be only 15!

They did a FANTASTIC job with the casting. How are you enjoying book #2?

So get this. I'm TOTALLY not a person that you would ever see at something like this but the author is actually doing a signing for A Dance With Dragons today so I said "Why the HELL not!" and drove an hour down for this event. I have no idea what to expect but this is going to be fun 🙂

Ultra!

I completely missed your response.

"Idk why I wasn't that shocked when Ned died. I thought it was naive of him to warn cersei to leave instead of taking action immediately. Joff is an asshole so I wasn't surprised at all when he pulled that stunt."

Absolutely agreed. Honorable? Yes. Naive? Absolutely. I think it goes back to the idea that being honorable is sometimes mutually exclusive from being smart. In short, the good guys don't always win and Ned paid the price with his head.

Like ladysag, I'm pretty annoyed by Caitlyn stark. I mean as smart as she was, she couldn't figure out that the dagger didn't come from tyrion? It's like he said. It's too friggin obvious! And, in the book the romance between her and Ned is greater. She's written to be beautiful. In the show, she looks like an haggard looking plain Jane. She looks like Ned's mom

Hahah that's so funny that you ladies hate Catelyn! In regards to figuring out that the dagger didn't come from Tyrion, remember back to Episode 1 where Lysa Aryn (Crazy mom breastfeeding her son in front of her whole court) sent the letter to Catelyn that the Lannisters were responsible for Jon Aryn's death. From that point on, Catelyn was DESPERATE to find any evidence to support that claim. This combined with the emotional state she was in with Brann's attempted murder. I can "understand" why she would immediately follow the evidence.

I also agree that they developed the love between Eddard and Catelyn substantially more in the books. And yes, while I enjoy the actress who is playing Catelyn, I was surprised they didn't pick someone more fit for the role.

Side comment: It's worth checking out episode 1 again. Perhaps it's just me but there is a certain sadness to it when you rewatch it. It's the last time you saw "The family" together.

I was surprised at the whole situation with Dany. I was very happy to see that witch burn alive lol. I friggin love how she comes into power at the end and the bloodriders swear their fealty. Season two is gonna be awesome! I'm reading book 2 now. Waiting patiently to get to dany's chapter!

Haha I'm glad you're enjoying the books. I will say this...
I loved book 2. With that said, Book 3 destroys book 2. Enjoy 😄
