Brazilian waxing

Should I do it?

Pros and cons?
Posted by feby
I do it every 5 weeks or so. I'm swimming a lot right now so it's just easier and less maintenance. It hurts but I like testing that in a controlled way ha
I'm considering getting it done. Getting a bit tired of doing my own waxing.

Love it. Painful at first but you'll get used to it.
I'd probably enjoy the pain Devil

What kind of wax do you use?

Wax strips. The normal sized ones (for legs, etc.) and the smaller ones for bikini lines. It's becoming increasingly annoying because perspective is limited. I've used liquid wax before but it was messy as hell.

Yeah I was wondering about perspective but didn't put it to words lol.

The woman I go to uses liquid wax on the stick with strips but I have had the hardening wax before that's supposed to be less painful and better for sensitive skin.

LOL. I'll give Brazilian a go I think. Wax strips are less painful and definitely good on my skin, but yeah there are some angles I really can't reach lol

Pop an ibuprofen half an hour before waxing and use Tend Skin

Danke!

Looking at making an appointment soon.

Pros are the cleanliness and attraction to my peachy vageen

Con is the pain and maintenance.

Having to get it done and work around having a period and a life is time consuming and involves scheduling.
I have a 6th house moon. Scheduling is one of my bad habits.

PS: Nothing like a clean area for cunnilingus! Devil
After the wax does it itch?
If you get an ingrown where the sun don't shine (areas you can't see or reach), you're open to getting a Bartholin cyst. I got Brazilian twice successfully without any problems but, the third time I developed discomfort around my labia majora. Upon a visit to the doctor, I discovered that I had an ingrown that I detected just in time. Otherwise it was going to turn into a painful cyst filled with abscess. I stick to shaving or trimming now.

Sorry for grossing you out but that was educational, wasn't it?
Do it just to try it. Your hair will grow back

Look up what Bartholin cyst looks like on Google. After seeing the painful mess I could've gotten in, I'm saying hell no to Brazilian.

Ive had them done for years and have done my own.

I however stopped and i just trim to an inch.

Ive decided there's nothing wrong with a lil hair. Men seem to like it.

There is a first time for everything, innit?

And it takes a lot more than the thoughts of developing a cyst to gross me out.

FYI, you can still get ingrown from shaving, which eventually can still develop into a cyst.

I use baby oil after waxing.
Increases your risk of STDs by 400%

The thing about all this stupid shit is that people are just stupid about all of it.

That hair is meant to be there for a reason. Keeping things trim is one thing, but this bare shit so you look like a 5 year old is just overkill and totally a societal brainwashing. It's also really gross if you have a dude who prefers your vagina look like a prepubescent child's.

To each their own, but people need to be more aware of the issues that arise from this overkill in "grooming."

Cysts, stds, ingrown hairs, all of that nonsense is increased when you keep fucking with everything.

The whole point of this thread was to figure out if I want to try it out.

There is a first time for everything.

Whether or not I am comfortable with the result, depends solely on my own decision made from the process, yes?

I wonder if the responses will be the same if I created a thread about wanting to go sky-diving. -_-

It's more the brain dead responses I'm seeing in the thread and less about your post.

The fact you're even considering it is also a tad frightening. "Wtf for?" is the main question. Shaving and waxing down there is just stupid and raising risks for what was mentioned above.

I don't even understand how half these silly bitches even deal with it or what their dysfunction is that they want to feel like they have a baby vagina. I keep things trim and the few times I've trimmed uber short, it was really uncomfortable because bits that are usually protected were now not and it's no bueno.

I wouldn't see so much fuckery of the topic if it wasn't surrounded by so much blatant ignorance.

+1000. Moreover, I looked up surveys as to what men preferred down there and majority wanted clean and trimmed hair down there. Biology prevails. What was interesting was that not a lot of men wanted it hairless so I wondered why people were even doing it. The answer is porn.

I mentioned this before somewhere but after having a boy, I can't stand shaved men.. I saw there were some guys saying the same thing when they had daughters.

I don't care, I don't like too much on me I don't mind keeping it trimmed if he's into hair. I don't wax though, too scary and idk I don't want to pay for that shit.

I just do a full body shave once a week

Yep.

They're also noticing a trend where hair is coming "back in" as far as preference goes. Tbh, it seems as if most guys dgaf just as long as things are tidy and neat. Just more bs pushed by the beauty industry and insecure females upon other females.

And if this is a actually a chick's preference, there's nothing wrong with that. I just get unnerved and annoyed when women are doing it because somewhere along the line, society told them that their lady bits aren't good enough unless waxed/shaved/all that shit, just like in teh pronz. Just like they're told they're not good enough if they aren't skinny and slathered with makeup, or wearing revealing clothing. If you don't do any of this, then men won't like you.

If anyone has actually experienced life, they'd realize that most guys really don't give a shit overall.

I'm not a huge fan of shaved dudes either. I don't hate it, but they don't have to go and do that. Neat and trim is just fine. I was with a dude who did that because he thought I'd like it and it's like... kay, you didn't have to go out of your way to do that. :/

...if anything I was more concerned. They have so much more loose skin to nick with a razor haha.

When I've shaven down there I'm not thinking of babies. I like the smoothness. You're the one bringing babies into this. Not anyone else here.

Aw, poor thing. Sorry I shattered your naive world view of things. It'll be okay, honey.

Nice try with the fallacy of an argument though. Gold star!

? agree with this post! Society pressures women with all of these things when men really dgaf.
