Holistic health help needed

I had my Mirena (hormonal) IUD removed 2 weeks ago.

I had been on the IUD for 9 years, and birth control pills for a year or so prior to that.

To suddenly strip my body of hormonal supplements has caused a severe mental reaction.

I’ve been having brain fog, severe anxiety (panic attack level, lasting days on end), suicidal thoughts, insecurity, shame.

I’ve become so lost in a matter of weeks. I need help.

Is there any herbal support I can use to balance out my brain until my body adapts to being hormone free?

I really wish to live as natural of a life as possible, so I don’t want to get back on birth control. But with how drastic this has been, I’m almost tempted to just get another IUD put in so I can feel better mentally.

Thanks in advance.
I know it's not what you want to hear but it really sounds like something to check in with your doctor about. I think they will have known this was a possibility when they took you off it and probably should have warned you. Hope you feel better soon hun x
I honestly don't remember. Which foods and herbs are for estrogen. I'd follow your cravings.

General hormon balancing herbs

Fenugreek

Longjack( Tongkat Ali) ROOT

Black cohosh( also mental stress)

Maca( I haven't researched this one, however it's in natural alternatives for woman libido pills)

Stress

Ashwaganda

Lemon Balm (this one is amazing as a good tea. Many great mental health benefits)

This.

In the meantime, stay away from things that make the attacks worse, like: smoking, alcohol, caffeine, sleep deprivation, and poor diet that causes blood sugar fluctuations.

Applying a cold compress on the back of your neck during the attack also helps a great deal by calming the vagus nerve.

Just don't worry its effects will decrease and then pass completely.

Similar things happened to me and some of my friends when we stopped using birth control pills.

We felt like we were going crazy but it all passed in a few weeks.

In a week it will start getting better and in a month you will be fine.

Try eating easy healthy meals like oatmeal banana and milk , also meat or protein and a potato and take vitamin c.

Thank you.

I hope it is a few weeks. I was reading on Reddit a lot of women had theirs last for months, and I just don’t feel like I’m in a place in my life right now where I can live through this for several months; weeks would be okay.
This is real interesting, I'm taking note of that. I've never heard of anybody having it this rough before.
Start fasting.

One day with no food.

The next day with healthy foods.

Repeat.

Your body needs to cleanse desperately.
I agree with some other comments here, that it would probably be a good idea to visit a doctor. Suicidal thoughts and the other things you're describing need to be taken quite seriously. Hope you feel a lot better very soon!
As one of my favorite dxpers on here it sadden me to read this. Suicidal is not the answer. You still young and got way too much to live for. I'm no doctor but please go see a doctor if you haven't already. Take care of yourself.
Agree see a GP

but mood wise st johns wort

Or try rescue remedy for anxiety

but see a naturopath or herbalist first
@TheLibraMudra Had the exact same issue and said she was working on a blog as a form information hub for women that are also affected in the same way… but since she deleted 🤷🏽‍♂️

You will be ok honey trust me smile You are not going crazy and you are not going to die but I know it feels like that sometimes with the panic attacks due to hormonal changes so remember that and hang in there dear smile Some moodiness may remain a bit longer but the crazy part does go away in a month because your body is strong and right now its just regulating everything back to normal.

I took a lot of walks listening to music and distracted myself when I felt crazy it helped. It also helps eating healthy. I couldn't stand cheese or certain foods for a few weeks so find which foods make you feel better.
