Almost threw down with some dude...

First off ...unfortunately not that type of throwing down Winking lol
I was taking my dog for his potty time and I see two guys down the street...one is stopped in front of my aunt flower shop...pointing at it. I get a weird feeling so I start to head back down the street. Then all the sudden the second guy disappears...right by my apartment. I freak because I left my door open, which I always do. I thought of fuck no...he better NOT be in my house! I pulling my dog..of course hes not wanting to come....ugh. Well he reemerges (he was peeing on the side of my apartment)...Im at the neighbors just standing there...they are trying to smile at me etc...I got my bitch face on. Well one of the guys...starts trying to mess with my dog. I have a pit bull...so of course I tell the guy "dont touch my dog" He tells me eff you bitch..I'll touch your dog if I want. ohhhhh helllllll noooo! He trys to mess with him again...now I'm pissed. I tell him to back off...he then tells me again eff you this, eff you that...I will kill your dog...whewwwww. Well now the Leo moon is starting to show. I tell him touch or try to kill my dog...I will let go of that leash and he'll rip your throat out! He then says again hes gonna kill my dog and I wont do shit. I say again...I WILL let go of this leash...he tells me hes gonna kill me and my dog. Yep now the Leo moon is in full swing. I walk right up to him..get in his face...whisper to him "DO IT" I dare you!
He starts to get in my face but then backs off...the other dude with him was just like "dude seriously lets get out of here" As he's walking away...Im slowly following (didnt want him to know where I lived exactly) He's turning around cussing at me some more...I yell out "you come on my street and disrespect me?!" eff you mother effer! I dont coward down...ever! All the while my dog whos supposed to protect me..its shaking and doesnt know what just happened lol. Poor puppy. Now of course looking back now that i've cooled down...I realize just how dumb I can be when provoked....he could have stabbed my in the gut or took out a gun...smh at myself

A perfect example why I have a CCW license. My dogs are a black lab and a boxer/lab mix. Not much threat or protection. When I had my German Shepherds, always felt safer.
If I were you, I'd be very cautious about this guy. It's psycho's as him who will come back and canvass your area just to see your schedule etc. Not trying to scare you. But it's just the nature of the beast.

Nah he doesnt seem like the type that will be back...not saying it cant happen, just a feeling.
I left it open cause I go right outside...if I was to go around the block then yeah I lock it up. Plus I have my family that keeps an eye out at all time, plus they have camera at their flower shop. Not all virgos are virgos lol

This summer I had to step in an incident/a fight between two guys. I did not think about myself, I just could not stand seeing this guy beat up in the middle of the road and seeing his bloody face, so I verbally yelled at the guy who was beating him and almost ran him over with my car. I realize now it was stupid, he could have shot me....but he didn'tWinking


I'm always trying to (what I perceive as) be protective. I had a similar incident like yours....only it was some guy pulled up around my old apartments and started to drag his gf out of the car threatening to smack her....I had to step in and yelled at him..."if you touch her, you're next" He got back in the car...sadly she did too :/

Yes!! Protective is the right word. We are like Leos emotionally speaking, so Leo is a sign of protection and loyalty. But to me, it happends when I don't even know the person, I just go in..all heart and no head. I do not think, I just act.
That is sad that gf went into a car. She is only perpetuating the cycle of abuse, instead of being strong enough to just walk away!

I have to tell you though.....my brother who lives in a relatively crim free Uni town....he was walking home from a bar alone. His friends were going to stay later so he decided to go home to bed. A man who he described as hispanic came out and was screaming random shit and wanted him to empty his pockets. My brother is 6"3 lol.......he said "fuck no" & him and the guy got into a fight. The guy pulled a knife and tried to cut his throat.....he now has only minor scratches and he beat the guy up and he ran away. Random people came to help him find his glasses that he never found.
The scratches did break blood....I told him to notify his doctor and see about setting up blood tests for the next six months to detect if he contracted anything from the knife.

That is a scary reality of confronting possible assults before they become emflamed.

Yeah I know...I thought about all that after the fact :/ I live in what people like to call *one of the most dangerous cities* (its really not) my neighborhood is pretty safe for the most part besides your random (like those guys) douchebags. I actually have a whole slew of cops that live on my street...just two house up...and I live on a busy road. Not saying those things will protect me..but I have some what of a upper hand. Normally I would have just walked away but after he threatened me and my dog....inner bitch came out lol
