Why?

So I've been moving on with this Virgo (you can check out my last post in the Cancer forum)

And I'm a bit shy to say this(and please don't judge) but just to, you know, change my focus of things... I tried for the first time to join an online dating site, nothing serious though just looking for some friends to talk with, or maybe something else so my mind won't keep on thinking about the guy.
So I've found a good friend, he was really nice and we've shared a lot of great conversations... I loved it. and I've noticed those times when we chat normally he doesn't open up that much. I don't like to be the only one to always initialize a conversation, or a topic just so things will go and appear smoothly. But then I asked him more, only to find out that he's a Virgo!
Oh no, not again! But I really appreciate the guy. I told him how I felt since we're friends, he said he thinks that this could work out, and admitted its hard for him to be open with most people. So I asked him to try to be more open with me(I had the confidence to tell him this because, I just know we really had a connection, in which I don't find with most people. I felt comfortable talking with him also.) And he agreed and started talking about himself. Of course, I'll know him more, gradually. Is the friendship worth it? Or will it be another round of, you know, confusing things, push/pull and whatnot. What do you think?
Another one, I've viewed someone's profile but that was about it. Then he sent me a slightly rude message. So I answered back to clear things. We ended up exchanging ideas and had a good conversation, and he was a Virgo too!
why why why. I don't intend to attract Virgos and vice versa, but why. Just wondering. -____-
