Exercise....

How many minutes/hours do you spend on exercise a day?

I’ve downloaded an app which records brisk walking steps and i’m averaging between 45-60 mins a day (brisk and regular combined).

Just wondering what other people do?

Thanks

What a coincidence. I'm just about getting ready to hit my dumbbells. Gotta keep my bi's and tricepts tight.

I'll probably shoot for 30 minutes or so.
I walk bout 6 miles or 16000 steps or 2.5 hours a day

I worked up this gradually
Impressive, guys👍

I hear it's healthier to exercise a few times during the day rather than once. I guess that makes sense as it gives the heart a workout periodically?
I do an amble of an afternoon or evening for an hour or two- but cos I take my metal detector the digging adds a bit of effort and according to my Fitbit - the results equal about 6/6500 steps with a couple of good heart zone moments in there so I consider that sneaky exercise

Otherwise it’s a bit of gardening (which could be half a day) or walking along the coast with my camera (gentle but for several hours)
1-3hours, depending on what i'm doing. been times where i did 6-7hrs a day, but that was specific kinda training.
I barely exercise, but I need to. Instead, I watch my food intake.

I was the same, except for dancing which I love but decided to start being more active this year. The app helps. You set targets and get rewarded when completed 😀🌟🌟🌟

I exercise enough, just not as much as I would like. I would love to look like a fitness Instagram girl but I will just settle for the basic biatch that I am. 🙂

It's pretty good pickings in Aussie in the right places you can find good size nuggets on top. We can too here but only on rock bottom and everything is in claim 😖

Yeh literally! Couple of recent finds here apparently! Other side of the country but.

I’m not in an area with gold as an option really other than lost jewellery items - still love the idea tho

So far it’s been mainly rubbish- or rather - cool vintage bottle caps and I generally find enough coinage for my coffee money each time 👍🏾

Old men gross me out.

But I’ll be in my Beckensale years soon enough. I love younger men. Just usually try to stick to 10 years younger at most.

I don’t know about 20 years younger, maybe when I’m 69

There’s still hope 😜

2 to 3 times a week

I've been walking to work during this pandemic. Home office ftw
Last year I started a strength training with a personal trainer. Not cheap but it's good. Before covid I used to go to the gym and do squats, lift weights but I always did what I was comfortable with so it has helped me to push myself harder.

I'm taking a break for a couple of weeks but I've been doing yoga at home. It works great and helps in so many ways. I bought my daughter a yoga mat that came with a poster with the poses to do. I found it on amazon, I had taken Yoga but this helps to know which poses to do so it flows nicely.
Takes me about 60-90m to get through strength work about 2-3x a week. Takes 20m for skill work most days a week. 20-40m of mobility a few times a week on top of that. https://digital-planner.com/fitness/planner/dark If I have extta time, I'll do cardio for 15-30m, but that ends up being like once a month

I’m canceling my Pilates reformer class
Thinking of joining an actual gym where it’s open 24 seven and I’m not stuck to a specific class.
I cycle to work everyday, so about 2 hours. Still a dadbod though. Guys do you enjoy exercising or are you selfdisciplined?

Cause I quit all the time.

I've been doing hour long bike rides a few times a week. I just got a new bike for the summer. I will probably park it in the winter lol
I haven't been to the gym in a while, but I train on my own now. I've had to make some adjustments because I was rear-ended in 2020, and suffered whiplash, so I needed the time to recover. I used to jog every other day (30 min), then on the non-jog days do kettle bells (30 min), and muay thai (1.5 hours). Post-accident and recovery, I walk every day in the morning with my dog (45 min), I do light weight kettle bells on sat (20 min), and I do very simple muay thai drills on the pads on Sundays (20 min). I'm thinking of getting a fitbit so it can track my steps....Honestly, walking has helped me so much during recovery, it's amazing. Even walking for 15 minutes really helps.
