i actually like gems for the most part, execpt for my sister who's more the evil twin than the nice one.
i think that the jealousy comes from the fact that you guys tend to get away with so much and still end pretty good in the end. i have a gem friend who drinks like a fish, does drugs and sleeps around but still managed to get married (to a really good guy) first out of all my party friends who are much more reserved. it is uncanny! so i think that's where it is coming from. I'm not jealous for her (but i'm not looking to get married either) i just applaud her because she makes me realize that all that stuff about being a "good girl" is a load of crap. so i live my life the way i want not by other people's standards.
