My stupid ass even apologized for not meeting him at a hotel to “hang out”. Thinking I’m being a bad friend. He said “Its okay, I’m not holding a grudge but we’re not speaking anymore.” 😂

You have to look deep into the source of the problem. Usually in childhood/parents. Cause usually the girls that have mostly male friends is a sign of parental issues. It's very difficult to get over issues as adults if you don't address the source and open up the repression

But you do have some toxic ones whom you seemingly seek some type of approval but you don't want romantic relationships with. That's could be highly damaging as it puts you in a vulnerable position. Are you an Aries? They tend to give more than receive which can cause imbalance

I’m not sure how I seek approval from them. I could be wrong but I’m not giving anything or receiving anything either really. I’m just being a human and congratulating accomplishments or offering condolences. One of my friends was on a few tv shows recently. I reached out to say congrats. He said thanks. Couple exchanges and that was it. He is one that is not toxic. Another friends Dad just died. I reached out to give my condolences. He went the toxic route. It could be because he doesn’t have any friends, because he told me I’m one of the only people he talks to and we talk VERY VERY infrequently. I’m talking like 3-4x a year, if that. He said he was lonely and felt like he might get into a relationship for the wrong reasons. That’s really it. I’m not crying to them or asking them to tell me I’m pretty. Like I mentioned, I’m known for disappearing and not talking to anyone at all.

Guys don't think like girls. We're wired to be attracted to females, it's primitive. You're being blindsided. We see it cause we're guys and you're not.

I can't get into specifics cause I know nothing other than what you've mentioned. Just take care of yourself, you seem to have mastered the withdrawing and cutting people off part which is not totally bad but as a female it still affects you emotionally even subconsciously. Just know guys will be fine. Especially if they're toxic they'll just find another host to leech off of. Don't feel bad for anyone but yourself. And even then treat yourself good. Friends are hard to come by in any scenario. Acquaintances come and go on the daily. You just need to accept yourself

I thought about what you said. I think I do feel obligated to return peoples kindness. I don’t like being in kindness debt. So if someone is even a little bit nice to me I’m like ahh shit now I have to be nice too. But sometimes their kindness is just manipulation or ulterior motives and I guess I need to recognize that.
