don't bother counting how many times she contacts you or you contact her...the core issue remains on how you are going to handle your ex. all this talk is just lip-service...it makes you look like someone who can't handle himself (not the man she envisions herself to be with)...and the longer you postpone confronting the ex...the more impatient she will be...until she just cuts you off.
if you are even entertaining the idea of having her talk to the gem directly, she will write you off as a wimp. she has no respect for wimps. she may take you up on the offer to talk to the gem, but that is just to satisfy her own ego...at that point your relationship is already dead in her eyes. she is a strong woman, she needs you to be a strong man.
