The trick to this is how you present in the initial interaction. Latest girl said to me 'Are you here alone' my response was "Yeah i was out with some girls from work but they've gone home with various blokes, you must know what blokes want with single girls.'
She asked me to touch her tattoo's which i did and it escalated from there. If you don't go in with the plan of simply finding someone to have sex with the girl set's the frame that she wants - i.e. You buy me drinks, chat me up and *maybe* you'll get my number. Hell no, that's no good to me at all. I'll set the frame and the frame is i'm only talking to you because i want one thing with you. If you can't fulfil that for me i'll go find another single girl to do it with. There are soo many around. The current frame you're operating within is with women that would probably cheat with anyone, not just you.

I feel like the defender of all things civil and good in the world...and it' s tough! It makes me numb to watch tv and read the news online where people are so obviously doing wrong. Do they have no idea of the fact that they have lost their moral compass??? There are two choices to make, 1 follow the herd, go with the flow of the moral decay of the times or 2 keep being the change I want to see in the world.

I agree with you that in my opinion the world is turning away from what has traditionally been considered moral. The question is what sets the foundation of morality? Is it the Bible? Organized religion? Basic manners? Society? Civilization?
All you can do is to lead your own life with your own moral compass. You can try to influence those in your proximity, but they are left to their own choices and opinions or views on what is moral and what is not. Be true to yourself and don't let others tempt you into leading what you would consider an immoral life. No matter how difficult it is to stand for what you believe, have the courage to do so and you will be happier within yourself.

It depends, i'll only go for girls that can work me up enough. The recent girl from saturday night had a promise ring on. Though at the time i didn't really pay much attention to it i kind of feel like a bastard now.

I saw that kind of attitude many times and I really don't like it, you're not alone with this kind of situation.
The person I know with this kind of situation too was worse than your daughters bf coz her hubby was nothing but a "professional bum".
Your story hits home coz I care so much about my friend but she seems to get used to that situation. C'mon this guy should be man enough to work his ass off and start to dream bigger not just for himself but especially for the children. If I were in your situation I might have done the same thing and perhaps even worse, I don't wanna see my loved ones suffer without me giving a damn. No no not in this life time.
I see that you've been keeping everything inside and tried to help your daughter by helping her bf get a better job. I can see also that you have a sensible daughter the way she reacts towards you when you shit her bf, I think this domestic issue is a major thing that your daughter and her bf should talk about. Talk to your daughter as well and be the loving mother she needs, present the pros and cons of their current situation, tell her that you care so much about the future of your granddaughter and only want nothing but the best intentions. you've had your fair share in life and I think that's enough for your daughter to mirror with. You are a though woman as I see it and I admire you for that.
