Well with me what I've thought is: a lot of these guys married right out of college (some even right out of high school, if you can believe that) and I am from the South, and I have lived in Vegas and L.A. and don't have any kids....so I just figure I look "exciting" to them from a distance. Like "oh there's blah blah blah, hey she's still pretty hot...and she represents the life I never lived, since I decided to stay here and get married and have kids, I wonder what her life is life."
I hope for most of them it's just a stupid fantasy, that I seem like an option they never took, and there's something exciting about that in their sedate young married lives...but the one guy I mentioned who was too persistent about it...it seriously made me MAD.
I haven't had this issue with any of the guys who actually traveled or did other things with their lives before "settling down."
In the post where you said this guy actually comes to the bar where your family goes (or owns it)...I wouldn't like that either.

Idk really. I think it gives me a feeling of 'safety' and 'comfort'. I know this sounds strange, but my whole body just screams no with shorter men. It probably has to do more with taste I guess. Just as I like dark eyes.

Interesting. Do you find it difficult to date because of this since taller men are in less supply than those of average height? I imagine the viable population for you dwindles much more once things like chemistry and connection are added into the equation.click to expand
Well firstly I guess I'm lucky that where I live the population is rather tall, so I don't really encounter a problem of less supply. I live in the Northern part of Europe, not Scandinavia though. And secondly, chemistry and connection on a romantic level will be very difficult to happen if the man is short. Can't help it, but it won't click in my head. I could make the click for fair coloured eyes, but that only happened like once or twice. So very rare. Short men? Nope, can't do it.

But, after reading a fews Leo threads;
- he will feel cornered and if there is someone guilty and I don't want/need the backlash
- could feed his already inflated ego
- won't make me feel any better if I know there is someone else
- will make me appear clingy and desperate (yuck!)
- as my gorgeous flatmate pointed out "That's good- for you! Bad- for her..."
And this would involve initiating conversation- thereby breaking the first rule of fight club- no communication!
Am I possibly getting the hang of this?

has nothing to do with wearing heels or insecurities. For me it's a matter of taste. LIke for example I don't mind a bit of chub on a man.
