The romantic in me says never but the cynic in me reasons that since I've never experienced true love or a healthy stable relationship, I should say screw it all and take the money.
So I'll meet in the middle. I WOULD NOT for a million dollars but I most likely would for 10 million. (I just said in another thread that I wasn't a gold digger so I'm not exactly a reliable narrator)

Until now you have been the one making all the moves, first giving him your number and then being the first one to initiate contact after the date. You already show that you are interested, know the ball is in his court. If he wants you he'll contact you, if not then is his loss. But you have been the one doing all the chasing and you have not given him the opportunity to miss you & long for you, remember that absence creates anticipation.
Don't seem to disparate in the initial stages of your acquaintance. I think you should just relax, do your own thing & let him contact you. Don't text him or call him, let him do the chasing, men find thrill in that. But, that's just my opinion.

Leave it up to him. If he's interested, he will pursue it. He'll find an excuse to contact you even if he's nervous. Relax, let him be a man. Men like to do the hunting.
You let him know you were interested by the last text, which was appropriate to say thank you and you had a good time.

What I've noticed with my Aries folks, is they seem to think they can say whatever they want out of their mouths, but get all touchy feely with their emotions when someone flips the script back on them..IJS
YEP, absolutely. This attitude is more prevalent among male Aries than women...and also somewhat of a general fire sign trademark.
In the worst case scenario, the one in the wrong compiles a set of excuses intending to validate said faults. The betrayal only happened because they were scared, depressed, or mad at you and not in their right mind at the time & wanted to teach you a lesson. Oops!
If another then commits an offense of equal magnitude at their expense(whether intentional or not)? Different story. While two wrongs do not make a right, you'll see these ones cannot stomach the taste of their own medicine.
The key implication it boils down to is; their emotional needs & sense of pride always trump yours/his/hers/theirs, and others are expected to abide by a lesser margin of error, as evidence in these *power plays*.

All I'm saying is when attitude hinders progress....and when I say progress...I mean progression with anything where life is concern such as career, intimate relationships, family, friends, etc. When you've gone your entire YOUNG life burning bridges and hurting people because you are using the "Aries" I am who I am, and that's just the way it is~~take it or leave it" slogan, then somewhere down the line change is needed, and trust me, it will come. Hello, thank you for the answers. I did what felt right and gave him my number which turned out great. But if I initiate again it may seem desperate? He does seem shy, he even admitted it, but won't he lose interest if I ask him out?
