Frankly. At this rate because Melody doesn't want to be with me. I could only at best end up with half custody. At best I will get visitation for like, half the time. So Melody is already goin to be doin half the work even if I push the issue. This is assuming she won't want to do more than half. Because she is really big on being a mother.
When we discussed it, I made it clear to her that I would not try to take her child from her. That I have no desire to force the child out of her arms just so they can be in mine.
On top of that it really depends. At this rate I will probably only financially support the child. Because I had also told Melody that if she was gonna end up with another man anyways, he might as well raise the child. If he is going to be her husband, he might as well be the father.
I want a family. As in. I want a child specifically with the woman I love. The child is merely a subset or byproduct of the love me and my lover have. They wouldn't have existed if it wasn't for the fact that I love Melody. So if I have to move on from Melody, that ultimately means I should move on from the child we made together too. Aside from child support if she wants to push the issue.
Hell doesn't that also make perfect sense in regards to what you and a lot of other people are saying? You put so much emphasis on the child having not just a mother and father, but the mother and father having unity and a bond? I mean.
