Lying to spare someone's feelings usually turns out to be a bad idea. I'd rather just be upfront, at least then it's out there and there isn't any walking on eggshells and webs of lies going on.
I think that anyone with a planet conjunct the Ascendant tends to stand out in a crowd.

You couldn't describe that any better! I love how y'all show your emotions, but its frustrating that you try hard to remain detached when we get too close. I try hard to break down that barrier and I believe I am, but it's a very slow process. Always has me wondering if there's a future or not. I prefer more stability in knowing what to expect.
You've explained my internal thoughts perfectly and despite my crabby pincers I've never missed anyone in my life, not clingy at all. Maybe the Venus in Gem has something to do with that.
