Exactly. Adults have lives. It's just tv and movies stereotyping the nerds to be these losers in their parents basement. I have never met anyone like that personally.

I played some WoW when dxp was out. The server is pvp but for some really useful items for pvp you still need to do pve.

So i see an advertisement on global, some Russian guild looking to fill their raid with outside members. I apply, they take me, raid leader says discord mandatory. Kinda sucked but okay.

I fire up discord and in a few mins i realize theres this angelic oh so cute voice playing a healer. I got mesmerized, the kind of voice you want to wake up to from a car crash coma.

I start hitting on her a little bit, whwnever i see in interface she healed me, like "thank you for the heals pretty voice" or when i didnt hear it for 5 mins " where did that pretty voice go".....

About halfway through the raid some dude opens a private channel with me and tells me in hard Russian accent English that healer is the raid leaders wife 😐😑🤐 and if i ever want to do this again with them i better stop. 😂😂😂

And after you are done, realize that your girlfriend having to tell you and all your friends that they need them to go do this or that.. yes you say sorry got 2 go brb.. and yes you go do the thing you were asked to do.. but, have you ever thought that the other person doesn't want to have to go thru life telling you to get off the game and go do this or that.. what they probably want from you is for you to just do the things that they need done because you care more about them than your gaming system.. this is exactly the reason people don't like being in a relationship with a gamer... you proved their point by creating a scape goat.. probably another valid reason people don't like relationships with gamers...

This here is exactly why women are probably asking this question when dating. A good portion of the time, gamers are known for not having their shit together or priorities set up right. Gaming is fine and nice, but too often, it seeps into personal life and responsibilities and it just not getting done. These guys are the equivalent of adult children. No self respecting, mature adult wants to date that.
