Jill is back to scheme with Katherine about Nina and Phillip. Jill has made the post nuptial agreement. Rex isn’t feeling well and wants to know where Katherine is. Ester tries to help. Nikki and Ashley have another friendly get together. Brittany visits Victor about Paul’s murder. Can Jill and Katherine play Nina into signing the post nuptial document? Can Nikki and Ashley work together to put an end to Victor and Leanne?

April 28 1989

Christine deals with the push and pull of her mother and father. Nina, Jill and Katherine bicker about the document. Paul thinks back on this mess with George. Does Nina succumb to the document? Can Lauren and Paul’s mother help Paul where Cassandra is concerned? Ending is interrupted by a news report*

I heard that Phyllis is back with Nick. Main reason for watching it again 😁

The original Adam Newman was the best. Too bad he got fired.

Okay, I got to get back into Y&R then. And please tell me Michelle Stafford is playing Phyllis. I just can't get behind this other chick.

I think you're referring to the second actor that played Adam (Michael Muhney) not the first (Chris Engen). Engen supposedly left because he was uncomfortable about having to play/pretend to be a gay character and get involved with Rafe (if I remember his name correctly).

I'm curious why Muhney was fired. Personally I thought he looked too old for the age he was supposed to be playing and looked angry all the time lol. I think the first one was the most interesting because of the character development at the time, same with the third (Justin Hartley). Justin is my fav.

Apparently there is now a fourth? If so, no spoilers on how he reappears pls. I want to catch up and figure out how he survived, a gun shot, being burnt to a crisp/drowning, plastic surgery and then being blown to sh*t, but Drusilla is still dangling off a cliff somewhere never to return...

Engan was the better actor

Muhney as Adam ate the show alive. He was fired for allegedly sexually harassing one of his co stars. He says differently. Never believed him nor never liked him

Brad is not pleased with his divorce from Tracy, and tries to find loopholes. Scott puts the moves on Lauren. Ashley and Nikki plan to move in on taking down Leanna. Is Leanne's dirty deeds catching up to her or will Victor have her back? What is sneaky David up to?

May 2 1989

Paul is panicked as he goes to see Cassandra. Victor learns from Nikki and Ashley how close Leanna is to Jack along with many of her other secrets. Can Leanna weasel her way out of this one?

Scott and Christine try and adjust to being half siblings after Scott tried dating her. Jack has great news for Ashley. Nikki wants to take Ashley out to paint the town red and pick up men. Victor has plans to take Jabot away from Jack and his family as revenge. What will go down when Leanne visits Nikki?

This Flowers in the Attic moment between Cricket and Scott....

User Submitted Image

Scott needs to let it go. Already. Besides, I thought he was poorly flirting with Lauren just the other "day".

I am still surprised by the friendship between Nikki and Ashley. I get it the hate the new wife, but this really happened?

LOL, Douglas' face when he said "Looking male companionship? You and Ashley are going to pick up men?!" Like dude....

Victor Newman...when a Cap meets and marries a Scorp.

Lol, damn Nikki...the fact that Victor only cares about Ashley going out doesn't seem to be working in your favour.

I don't know, they are both creepy for different reasons.

John's is trying to isolate the girl by getting the two people she trust to reveal a secret so he can swoop in. Puppet master creepy.

Scott's just horny. Most people would be repulsed knowing they almost smashed their older sister, so....Perv creepy. It even made that innocent good bye hug feel ick. Hence my comment about Flowers in the Attic. In the novel it's the brother that ends up pushing the issue and so the incest begins.

I agree it is 2 different kinds of creepy. I think the actor that plays Scott generally gives off creepy vibes too. He played a villain on Sunset Beach.
Time has nothing on Michelle Stafford. She’s still super hot and keeping her sizzling chemistry with Nick alive. I am loving their scenes together 🔥

I really liked Phyllis with Ronan too. That storyline was cut short much to my dismay 😤🤧

Jack learns Ashley and Nikki visited Victor about Leanna. Victor plays along with Leanna's games. Jessica is pleased. Lauren confronts Cassandra about Paul. Is anyone going to get through to Paul as he falls apart? Is Jack going to be able to do damage control?

May 4 1989

Someone's life has crumbled completely. Nikki consoles Victor. Brad is still trying to win Tracy back. Katherine has herself and Jill fretting over the document they had Nina sign. Does Leanna have anyone to turn to?

Lmao @ Victor throwing his glass
May 16 1989

Nina is in positive spirits as she chats with Rex. Paul, who is now in jail, gets a visitor trying to help him. Katherine sets up a party for Nina and Phillip. Did Phillip fall off the wagon and start drinking again? Will Paul be able to come up with a hefty bail?

May 19 1989

Lauren comes up huge for Paul. Paul's father tries to help his son. Jack and Jill argue about work until John and Ashley intervene. Paul goes to Nikki about what Victor has told the police about him. Does Victor have David in his pocket? Can Victor get his revenge on Jack by taking advantage of Jabot trying to go public?

May 22 1989

Nikki goes to Victor to talk about Paul being arrested. Despite all of his troubles, Paul cannot get Cassandra off of his mind. Is their proof that Paul was set up by the dead man himself? Nina and Katherine talk about Phillip being a recovering alcoholic, but will Nina let her know he fell off the wagon?

May 23 1989

Katherine is worried about Phillip. Jill & Jack taunt each over other business and personal relations. Brad whines to Ashley about Tracy. Is there any getting through to Phillip who is in denial about being an alcoholic?

Confirmation, John's a decent guy. I respect his self-confidence and faith in his bond with his slag wife.

Jessica's still trash.

WTF they got Nina to sign over her baby? Lol! I'm sure that was interesting.

Lmao with the disguise to go see Jack when a 20 minute phone call would have sufficed. That shake and go kitty kat wig was horrible!! LMAO! 3/5 stars for the unnecessary drama.

Jack sure is happy these days. David wants to work directly for Jack in case Jill ever finds out what he is up to. Brad visits Chase in what was his old office. Is the pile on Paul too much?

Lol at the low key disrespect of Lynn and her role.

"I have to see Paul is he alone?"

"Yeah. I'll buzz him."

"Uh, never mind I can't wait" um how long does she think a buzz from the receptionist desk will take?

Her whole time there she was basically wallpaper because everyone except Mary blew past Lynn and just walked into Paul office. Let the woman do her job. Geeze.

June 20 1989

*Big story point we missed: Phillip, driving drunk, crashed his sports car and was killed.*

Paul has news of on the murder investigation for Cassandra. Christine tries to brighten Nina's spirits after Phillip's death with a night out. Danny has a concert dedicated to Phillip. Derek tries to get close to Christine, but wonders how close she is to Danny. Are turns in the George case bringing Paul and Cassandra closer again? Laurean is convinced Cassandra was involved with George's murder.

June 26 1989

Conclusions continue to be drawn about Cassandra. Jill and Katherine bicker about Nina and the baby. Jill is upset that Nina went to the concert while the baby was left somewhere. Nina has unearthed money because of Phillip's life insurance.

June 27 1989

Brittany and Cassandra both play games with each other and Paul, and vice versa (this Paul/Cassandra story is a convoluted mess.) Rex helps Katherine grieve the loss of Phillip. Tracy continues to block Brad out.

Also, Cookie and Lucious are the black Victor and Nikki. For reals.

Why do people keep saying Cassandra "has an air tight alibi" just because she was in Chicago? No one has ever heard of gun for hire? And why does Cassandra have such an expensive car rental bill? Dun dun dun. I knew she had something to do with George's death. Air tight alibi my a**.

Jack has a horrible game face. And who puts on a tux and evening gown to chill at home? Rich people be funny. So Leanne seriously couldn't pick up on the fact that the conversation was very one sided, or is Victor usually this lame at home? Then Victor reveals he knows the truth:

LOL. Damn, that was a bit unnerving. Would have had a much bigger impact if the glass he threw actually broke, but they tried. Limited budget and all gotta keep those glasses intact.

Lauren lost her calling as a detective. Discovering Brad in the cage, picking up on Cassandra's secret....and then she gets caught by Cassandra following her...

lol Lauren is like some nosy girls I knew growing up that really should have had careers as detectives

Someone's life has crumbled completely. Nikki consoles Victor. Brad is still trying to win Tracy back. Katherine has herself and Jill fretting over the document they had Nina sign. Does Leanna have anyone to turn to?

Damn, who knew Victor had all them feels. His demeanour and his "never let them see me break" makes a lot more sense now....Leanne got close to the soft gooey centre.

LMAO at Jacks version of giving sympathy.

Leanna: My whole life is over. I'm devastated! There's no one like Victor. I lost most important person in my life!!!"

Jack:

And then...Leanna loses her sh*t...

Coincidentally, I had someone fly off the handle on me today in the same manner (minus the glass being thrown). Won't lie, I was giggling inside while keeping a straight face.

And then Douglas, my dude! He was like:

LOL!

"Are you saying there's no hope?"

And the look on Douglas' face when Leanna said she wants to be held:

I figured as much. I think air moons are great at listening, analyzing the problem and giving sound feedback, but you need a hug?----hmmm go find a Crab or Fish moon for that.

The things about the person that popped off was she went from 1-1000 like a light switch. There was no build up so I could brace myself. I was like "what. the. f*ck. is. happening. right. now?" I literally had Jack's expression lol. Then she was like "I don't want to even f*cking be here!!!!!"

Lol, *ummmokay sis, no one is holding you hostage, you can bounce. At any time. You came to me with this river of tears*

Apparently I wasn't "getting it", so she was freaking out on me. I'm use to misplaced anger/frustration given my profession, so I don't bat an eye when someone losses it on me, but it is still amusing some times.

Funny enough:

Gem Asc

Virgo Sun

Virgo Moon

Leo Merc

Virgo Venus

Gem Mars

I think it's her Merc that clashes with mine. I struggle with Leo Mercs (sq Scorp Merc) regardless of the Sun sign. It's literally like we are talking a different language, hence "you just don't get it".

They also tend to communicate in a way that seems like they are always yelling, which makes me pause. Often. I use to date one that would often use "!" at the end of almost every sentence. I was like, babe, we need to talk about your abuse of exclamation point. Everything can't be a 10 when you communicate.

Interesting because other than that it seems like that chart should be fairly normal lol. Gem rising love to argue but usually not emotionally

Victor keeps getting dragged into the investigation of Paul. Victor then gets close to Cassandra. Jill blames Katherine and Nina for Phillip's death. Christine has a date that goes very very badly...and turns violent...

June 29 1989

Jack is not good at comforting Jill. Jack thinks he has a plan to stick around after Victors takeover of Jabot. Jill meets with Victor to discuss the acquisition. Christine has been attacked. Will she be able to tell Nina about the rape?

Will you ever do Passions? I’m rewatching on YouTube.

Is it a good soap? I always heard it referenced when someone wanted to throw salt on someone that was acting overly dramatic. Like the the American telenovela lol.

I'd watch a few episodes if they were posted.
