there was some unfortunate statement said and i lost my mind.

there are some restrictions going on in my country right now.

but i just can't stick around family anymore.

i feel like they look down on me and have very little respect for me coz i'm so passive about most things, tend to keep to myself and it's so funny how my gem aunt always has the ugliest boyfriends yet has the gall to say these things.

wether it was justified or not what you said was openly confrontational and aggressive. You shouldn't be surprised if it ruffles some feathers. Especially if it's not your MO. Don't let it get to you by caring about the opinions of people who are nasty towards you and others. You should be happy.

i'm so upset coz they never sound supportive, always seemed that they look down on me and my choices. and it's funny too that they've insulted him (though they haven't even met) and he mentioned that thing you just said... about what's best for me.

Well, what would they gain by making you feel bad? They don't get paid for it. They don't get any reward whatsoever. There's also no point in your aunt being jealous of you. Why would she? I would understand a bit more if let's say she has a child your age who she's pitting against you. It happens in families. But, if not, what could be her motive? I dunno. I've been around good and bad family my whole life and I used to go against advise or thoughts like that. But only when I got older and became a mother that I started understanding things more.

Well then move out permanently and get over it. Make sure you don't come back to them if they are really as horrible as you say they are. There's no point complaining about it and not doing anything at all. I'm sure they will get over the loss themselves.

Check your thread history. you're always the victim. It's not a very good pattern and then you act like a child. Look at your complaints about your cap in a previous thread. You basically complain about the tiniest thing and make it such a huge deal. It's very hard to take you seriously.

Wasn’t he supposed to meet your family and he bailed because he was working? If he effectively stood you all up and they know about it, yeah doesn’t look good.

i think that may partly be the reason besides them being their usual snobby selves but he had a legitimate work-related reason for not showing up.

my uncle suggested to have him for dinner so they can all meet him before this whole drama with my aunt and other female relatives happened not too long ago.

but it's too late now that i've lost my temper.



the capricorn remains optimistic though when he picked me up with the 3 bags i can manage to lug around. if only for pride, i'd stick to severing ties with them. but he tells me that someday we'll go back and things might be different.

i might go back next week to get some more clothes and some more of my stuff (my laptop and winnie the pooh stuffed toy's still there). there's some more things that's been said and done that i'd rather not go into coz it's too hurtful for me but i can't stop how i feel.
